Ken is another Crew member reunited with John and Lane after their R.H. Phillips careers. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Ken entered the world of retail at Color Tile Supermarkets and Burger Chef. In 1982, he was lured into the wine world by Ohio Valley Wine and Beer Company in Cincinnati. He stared out with a training route and by 1986 was managing the sales of the company. He survived several buy-outs serving as general sales manager for Allied Wine and Spirits Company and for Metamora Importing, where he was introduced to R.H. Phillips, the Giguieres and Steve Crosta. After a two year hiatus serving as CEO of the Mad Monk Beer Company, Ken called Steve, then John Gigs, to request a position with R.H. Phillips. After a stellar interview in a smoked-filled, Chicago bar Ken started his new life in North Carolina with R.H. Phillips in March of 1999. He survived the Vincor buy-out of R.H. Phillips in 2000 serving as Region Manager for the Mid-Atlantic. Fortunately for the Giguieres, he didn’t survive the Constellation buy-out of Vincor in the summer of 2006 and was able to accept their invitation to join the Crew as Southeast Region Sales Manager. Ken lives in Wake Forest, North Carolina, is married to Jacqueline, is the father of three beautiful children and master of one very old long-haired Chihuahua named Chico. His hobbies include attempting to play golf, creating friendships, enjoying great wine and food, Sudoku and reading.
